
Dany Vassyli Mugisha has been elected Spokesperson for the Francophone Youth Parliament (*Parlement Francophone des Jeunes*), a significant role that will enable him to represent and advocate for youth across French-speaking nations.

The Francophone Youth Parliament is a platform connecting young people from member countries of the Francophonie. It aims to foster youth participation in governance, advocate for issues affecting young people, and promote cooperation and development among nations.
It also serves as a mechanism for young people to share their ideas and have a voice on the international stage, particularly regarding politics and development.
This success was greeted by his many fellows and institutions among them Rica Alumni, a vibrant network of leaders and innovators in the agricultural sector. The emotions expressed in the following words:
“We congratulate Dany Vassyli MUGISHA, a RICA graduate, on his election as Spokesperson of the Francophone Youth Parliament during the 51st Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (APF), held from 7 to 11 July 2026 in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
During his two-year mandate, Dany will represent and amplify the voices of young people across the Francophone space, advocating for their interests at national and international levels. We look forward to the positive impact he will continue to create through this important leadership role.”
